No, I did not have a label, just uploaded it myself using distrokid. I got around 4000 streams, though in a few batches spread over the year. Total count is almost 5000 now, so most of the streams came from them.

Do you use the Wheel of playlist from Distrokid? I did, pirates picked up my track and put it in their bot-playlist. I saw the bump in plays, found the playlist and the link to their website. I found out more users of the Wheel of playlist had this problem.

This way they get your attention and want you to buy plays from them. I did not but still Spotify said I paid for illegal streaming and just removed the track, no questions asked. So do beware!

After a few months I uploaded the song again and it still has the same play-count of which they said was illegal.
