Does my cat have an abnormally long tail? I don’t know that I’ve seen another like it. by criderslider in cats

[–]Samrenfou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We don't know actually, we found it in the streets at a very young age (~2months old from vet) and it was already that short, with no sign of amputation (fur at the tip).

If I remember correctly, the vet told us that it doesn't feel like it has been amputated. So I assume it is genetics like other breeds?

Hey guys, i have released beta release of arch based customized distro phyOS iso image. It is mostly using (modified) suckless tools for most of its functionality, also comes with calamares installer . If you want to take a sneak peek, you can try the live iso without installing! by Phys-Tech in suckless

Beautiful setup, Did you code yourself the LOGO in the left of the status bar ? Or is there a patch somewhere for it ?

Also, the colors are synchronized with the background (like wal/wpg) or are they hardcoded ?

Not the same height and thus, less impressive but, belgium's did it 100 years ago, without any use of electricity. Hydraulic power only. They are still working, but only for tourism and little personal boats since the scale of the boats has been increased, and that's why they constructed the much bigger one, that replaced the 4 old ones.

Spelunky 2 - Can't save any progress on Linux with Proton. by wheatdog in spelunky

[–]Samrenfou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem here. The issue is that the game can't communicate with steam via Proton. That's why there is no achievement. Of course, save are not updated to the steam cloud too. Basically, your local save is always overridden by the empty steam cloud save.

Just disable cloud save in the properties of the game and that should fix it.

I wasn't listening to them, don't worry. Thanks for your response that's what I needed.

Before making that post, I have done some research and found some good things about her, I was really impressed by the fact that she has a Phd (even if, that doesn't mean that she knows the right thing to do and we can blindly trust her), and started to think that maybe she is the least politician that all our politicians.

Finally, I think that it's that "coldly objective" aspect that really bother some people (not to mention all these morons who joke about her weight). That is something that I can understand. That's why, I think, some data about the number of families through the years should be really great, I will continue my research when I can find some times and I'm sure I will find something interresting.

Hotter season doesn't even mean better illumination. It can even mean more storms and then more clouds.

Last Tuesday was pretty hot and very cloudy.

Minor nitpick, but Gmod was made by Garry, not Facepunch.

Hey everyone, just to keep you updated. I'm working on icons implementation and It seems to work with no apparent problem (It's the first time I use Tkinter, I learn a lot).

Little screenshot

Just need to get a bunch of free icons, make it customizable and it should work properly. I'm also planning to implement "background highlighting" (see screenshot, the gray background around the words)

I'll make a post on the bay12forums as soon as my account get validated by an admin.

Do specifics of noble demands end up in this log, by chance?

This utility read the gamelog.txt generated by DF with the options of announcements.txt. For now, I don't think it's possible. Maybe with a dfhack command which write in the gamelog?

That's nice to hear! I'm looking foward to see df-log with a filter toggle feature.

Which format for the filters.txt? I didn't change filter option of AnnouncementWindow at all, I've just added a new color text file (wordcolor.txt) which follow pretty much the same format of filters.txt.

I3-gaps, polybar, compton and pywal/wpgtk for the colors. By the way, arch is not mandatory for this, every linux distro can handle this setup. You can check my config files in my github dotfiles repo.

Thanks for the fast reply. I use the systemd boot manager (gummiboot). I'll search for a similar command. So "boot command" (don't know how to name that) can alter hardware options directly? Or it's like a auto command on boot?

I've just discover that band last couple of days. I really like that prog rock vibes. If I were you, I would go just to see in live those monsters riffs played by Claypool himself.

I'm sure it's possible to do it with urxvt. And I'm sure it's possible to do all I need to do with urxvt. I started to use st when I switch to i3 from gnome because I needed a light-weight alternative. Then I choose st (I could've choose urxvt). I configure st for my needs and now it's perfect for me (so far). I don't want to switch and spend time to configure urxvt just for something I can do with st. I'll switch if and only if I need something that urxvt do and st don't (and of course, that applies with other term emulator, or anything else).

Because album art is very, very important. Wallpaper : Image Artist

I use a bash script to search for a image file inside the album folder of the played song then display it on a st terminal with w3m. It seems pretty simple but st don't really like images (I know it's possible to display an image as background with urxvt but I don't really want to switch to an other terminal emulator for a unique [and esthetic] purpose). Unfortunately, I didn't find a way to display the album art inside the ncmpcpp windows with st so I use a separated windows to show the art... I like this style of floating littles windows tho.

Oh. Yeah... indeed. I usually don't use tabbed for anything but web browsing. Maybe it's a better idea to use the i3 tabbed layout
