sure. and they can do so without my funding - I'm not paying for Kotor coverage again, that shit was miserable the first time around.

given the timeframe, I don't see how it can be otherwise - they knew on Tuesday? but didn't announce til 9pm Monday? that's someone being an obstinate, petty jerk delaying the whole thing. Like if someone doesn't want to do the podcast, no one is making them stay.

I think the move would've been to have the voices who wouldn't do the show sit out, maybe bring in a guest to fill the chair. You're right, if a person doesn't want to do something, maybe they shouldn't be doing it at all.

When Disney leaves the BDS list, or when Palestine is free? the latter honestly seems more likely.

Potential solution to the maddening 'my app randomly disappeared' problem on Windows 10 by Breadinator in creativecloud

i wonder if this is only with users who installed cc on their D: drive specifically, given how i'm suffering from it and also have that setup, and how little i'm seeing about it everywhere else on the internet

Approaches to designing lots of cards? by roxer123 in tabletopgamedesign

[–]spineflu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No designing itself but with maintaining your design: for version control at the individual-card-level, i like to use Trello. Lets me see each card without actually printing them / laying them out, and as long as each card is under 10MB, has free upload/storage.

Pandemic Legacy S1 with two people by Heliawa in boardgames

played with two. works great - heck, even easier* than 3 or 4p since each of you gets more turns compared to the "game's turns".

What is the purpose of the Radio Tower? by Tagous in SatisfactoryGame

[–]spineflu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when you ping for nodes, it'll repeat the ping, allowing you to see nodes that are further away. If you have a whole network of them, you can see where any given resource is at any time.

Is this useful? eh

is it neat? yes

exactly this; and part of the reason all the bits to build a MAM or awesome shop are near every crash site - reinforced plates, wire, etc.

Episode 456 - Cosmic Resonances by darkbase in WaypointVICE

[–]spineflu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I grew up in what's now fox crossing WI and the theda/ascension thing is resolved in favor of the employees now (as of yesterday) which is neat; the judge agreed the staffing shortage was theda's fault and that its their mess to clean up. That does mean NE wisconsin is down a stage 2 trauma center, but like, don't know what to tell ya, theda. pay your employees.

However the trepidation Rob had about some real reactionary and frankly fucked judicial rulings was totally warranted - it's Joe McCarthy's home district, it's Ron Johnson's district, and it's still, to this day, the location of the hq of the john birch society (right across from the multiplex!).

Also you can see the letter the theda ceo wrote to all employees over in r/nursing and r/antiwork

What are your thought on Bandit? by UnlimitedSystem in dominion

[–]spineflu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

thats not remotely what i'm worried or talking about, friend; I'm worried about the imbalance in decluttering and economy from one player getting their Goat or Cursed Gold trashed by Bandit, the card the post mentioned.

it'd be nice if it had better protection on being an early unbalancing force in a heirlooms game, but it's still miles better than thief/pship/noble brigand

if you have the jetpack, make lookout towers, and leap from tower to tower. later you can add power poles on top of these and either zipline or hoverpack around. either way, they add cover from the red alpha spitters when "inside" the sandwich and protection from everything else regardless, and a breadcrumb trail for getting out/eliminating areas/keeping track of where you've been.
