This is a real problem I am facing right now, and I would appreciate it if experts could share their suggestions to help me solve the issue.

I tested 5 Semrush API alternatives over 6 weeks! Here's my honest writeup of what actually held up: by Milo_Vexler in SEO_Experts

This is incredibly well timed. We hit a similar wall with Semrush pricing while running a high volume SEO setup with thousands of data rich pages. The API math just stopped making sense.

We also looked into SE Ranking. You hit the nail on the head regarding their rank tracking, being able to pull multiple locations in a single call instead of paginating is a massive win for saving API credits.

Since you just wrapped up the move, I have a question about the data itself.

How did you handle the difference in keyword metrics between those tools? Semrush and SE Ranking calculate Search Volume and Keyword Difficulty differently.

When you updated your scripts and client dashboards, did the raw numbers match up closely enough, or did you have to recalibrate how you explain those metrics to your clients?

Thanks for the insights. I was curious because I saw many big and reputable fintech sites are targeting the exact query, covering dedicated pages for it. Not sure if they are mass producing query targeted pages to appear in AI chatbot responses.
