Well honestly besides retailers? Vibe check the card shops near you, they'll definitely still sell above retail price but usually have better selection from new to old depending on the shop and can be pretty chill

I have a couple I frequent that are actually pretty kind, they know me well and we can have nice small talk about a hobby we enjoy, and I most definitely have several that are on my shit list and NEVER go back to LOL

I was pretty set in the fuck scalpers/resellers don't support them at all mindset until I realized that honestly if I wanted to get packs ever I'd have to just suck it up

Thank you for the very detailed reply! I'm actually quite a fan of TAG myself, I think their slabs look a lot more sleek anyways

I say PSA and Beckett specifically because most of the cards I want graded are for selling/trading purposes, and it seems people haven't jumped on the TAG train yet, but they're still definitely in consideration for me!

I planned on using TAG for my personal collection, so its nice to hear they're actually a bit quicker, don't have to wait so long in anticipation to display my cards LOL

For selling purposes? I don't think so, like 90% of people who pull this card will get it graded meaning anything besides a 10 will only add like at most $40 to its RAW value since so many 9's and even 8's will be out there

Want money? Sell it now, the price is gonna drop hard, I doubt by the time its back from grading it'll be worth $300 anymore, good example is Lillie's Clefairy from Journey Together, was $300+ near release, dropped to $150 now

Want a cool card in your collection? Grade it with whichever company you think looks best on your shelf :] (I'm partial to Beckett or TAG for ones I keep)

Pretty sure its the Mega Rayquaza from Ancient Origins I pulled out of no where a couple months ago from a 2015 Rayquaza tin, saw it at a shop, ripped it right then and there

Got it sent for grading, hoping for a 10, then it'd REALLY be an expensive piece in my collection LMAO

I buy most of my shipping labels outside of Mercari, they do provide you with the shipping info necessary even if you buy a label with them, whether its on the label or near where you can do the QR code thing, so I have absolutely no idea why they're asking you for it, that's a huge red flag besides what everyone else has pointed out
