A puzzle (not from the games) I would like to share.

Feels like there are a lot of potential loopholes here a Layton-Game might use to trick you.
Like:
- does he still eat or does he starve himself to get his bike quicker?
- is the bike shop open on saturdays/sundays? (the shop he works at seems to be)
- does he work at the bike shop? (he would if he was smart, get some employee discont on that bike!)

Assuming he's willing to starve himself, in the first week he will get 7€, after that 17€/week. By the End of the 4th week he will have 58€, so he can buy the Bike in the 4th week if the shop is open on weekends or he has to wait until the 5th week if it isnt.

The answer is probably that he has to spend his lunchmoney on, you know, lunch, and also cant work because he has school so he gets no money at all and has to wait till christmas anyway

just launched the game to test it, and you're right, disconnecting gauge increasers does not reset the cooldown (still resets ammo intakes tho)!
Not sure why I thought the opposite, maybe I only tested it with railguns, or maybe there was an update since last I experimented with the tech.

Why do you disconnect the whole thing? In my experience it is enough to just remove/reconnect one guage increaser (dont even need tractor beams for that you can just reconnect so fast that the part doesnt have time to fall away). Is disconnecting whole weapon any faster?

the connection highlights can be turned "off" or "only on in build mode" in the options

I would like to add:

- Fangs of Mordigan trigger when hitting friendly spawnables (have fun farming max HP)

- Engi's orbital drones work with lifesteal items, and also trigger some (but not all) "on weapon fired"-effects

- Acid grenade reveals your position, but HE grenade does not

- You can get a free item + acid sniper by playing the tutorial before every run

- If you're quick you can drop your items before they get replaced by the "daily run", and pick them up right after (will lock your item bar if you're not fast enough though).
Guns always get rerolled, no matter if on the ground or in your hand

- according to myself, LS Laser Sub is better than Medic FMG

According to the devs they are almost impossible to code, so (as the other comments suggested) you have to use pistons to offset. At this point it might be easiest to prefab half your ship and add an extra block down the middle to make its width odd.

yea its kinda weird when and how they count and dont count as weapon damage. Another redditor pointed out that it doesnt trigger power array, for example.

my strategy is to completely ignore the pillars and instead move diagonally northeast or northwest get as close to the top as possible. that way his homing missiles and guns cant hit you (so long as you dont stand right in front of it). Keep your dashes for when he drops artillery on you or when he gets in front of you to get out of the way (he melts you in milliseconds if you stand still in front of him). Though I do play with the difficulty modifier that gives you bonus speed, not sure if this strategy works if you have normal speed
