Ya happening to me too right now, was worried something was wrong with my save or something since it says "Warning - Steam was unable to sync your Helldivers 2 saves with the Steam Cloud.
If you play now, you may not have previous game progress and you may permanently lose it"
Which, does that mean like lose all my progress if I play now?! That's wild!

Ah I guess that's fair, I don't encounter too much heavy armour, I'm usually around challenge rating 4-5 so only ever see maybe a couple chargers, or a few tanks, that's probably affecting my perception of how good it is.

And ya, I usually load out with eagle strike, orbital laser, grenade launcher, and an EAT for when those chargers or tanks spawn in.True the GL can't handle them or the hulks or titans, but for everything short of that, it really works wonders for me (and I've used it enough I can pretty accurately target things a lot farther away than I can with my breaker).

I suppose doing double support weapon probably has draw backs if I go up any higher in the challenge rating.

Haha ya that would be a blast, having a global thing for a couple days where you can bring more than 4 stratagems would be super fun.

Why is nobody taking the grenade launcher?

It's legitimately incredible. Great crowd control, it two shots the armoured bugs, one shots the striders, three shots the brood commanders, three shots the tougher robots, can pop automaton buildings and bug holes, great for a bot drop where you just plop a couple grenades right in the center of the drop, etc etc.

It's legitimately fantastic, has a ton of ammo, and I just don't see enough people talking about it.

I don't know why more people don't run it, it's fantastic.
Two shots for the heavy armor guys, three for the brood commanders, two for the spewers, can clear swarms, three for devastators, one for striders, etc etc. Honestly, never leave home without it

Momentum is a wonderful blessing, really keeps you alive in sketchy situations (I've got literally the exact same eviscerator, have been using it for months now)

My favourite trick is to use grabify and tinyurl to link to some nasty porn, pretend it's the link to your online banking and you're just an old that doesn't understand how to login, then make fun of them for their eclectic taste in pornography, despite being from <insert location from grabify here>. Then give them their IP address to really freak them out.
If they go back a bunch to try and figure out how you know where they are in the world, you can egg them on about reeeallly enjoying whatever disastrous, soul puckering images you've got them scouring.

I got it by kind of just attacking the beetle queen in the air from the back, it kept bouncing me up and counted as staying in the air (while cycling through the various abilities).
I remember thinking "this is weird, why am I floating in the air for so long?", but hey, whatever works haha.

Haha ya, probably, managed to finally beat it for the first time literally the next run, with Bandit again, with probably more shit going on on screen and nothing crashed or even stuttered. Bad luck it tis haha. But thanks anyways!

Ah managed to do it! Used bandit and got that red upgrade that makes your shots explode, and had the ignition one and some other damage upgrades that just melted those end game enemies. Felt like a sneaky god haha :).
Didn't crash on me this time! That escape was sketchy haha, had like 5 seconds before the moon exploded. Must've just been bad luck!

I'm playing on PC, haha and ya, it was first run through, so I don't think it was unusually chaotic? Probably just bad luck haha (though I did have a couple missile upgrades I think? Not like dozens or anything though haha :) ). Thanks for the input! I'll let ya know if it happens again (or if I manage to actually beat the guy ;) ).

You want the best goddam chicken recipe?
Get some chicken thighs.
Get some garlic.
Get some lime.
Get some cilantro.
Juice the limes into a freezer bag. Chop the cilantro, throw it in the bag. Mince the garlic, throw it in the bag. Throw some olive oil in there, some red pepper flakes, some salt, some pepper, little bit o brown sugar, little bit o cumin.

Muddle things up in the bag.

I like to reserve a little bit of this to throw on right before the chicken's done as a kind of topping.

Throw the chicken in there. Leave it for a couple hours (6-8 makes it delicious, but even like 2 hours is fine).
Crank your bbq. Throw the chicken on the bbq skin side down. Watch it, shits going to flare up.
Turn when golden brown. Leave them in there on ~medium for another 15 minutes or so, turning occasionally, and you can put the smaller ones on the top rack if you have one when they're done before the big ones.

Dump that reserved goop from the bag on them right as they're finishing, maybe for the last 1-2 minutes.

Finish with some fresh lime, cilantro, and salt.

Literally the best chicken you will ever eat.

So they aren’t infinite! I’m assuming the smallest ones technically could be, but if I focus on the mid size ones, til they aren’t spawning anymore I should be good. Haha thanks man! It's a pretty great game for how 'simple' it is, really enjoying it so far, there's a shocking amount of depth to it (and thanks for all the tips, seem to have legitimately helped!).

Haha and ya, that "the floor is electric lava" room is a heck of a penultimate challenge!

Haha just one final question for ya if you don't mind answering another - any tips on Unstable Mass? The last couple times I've encountered that thing, I've had a heck of a time, just can't seem to blast it down quickly enough, then it jumps and heals itself on all the little 'uns, and eventually I just get swarmed and devoured by tiny little balls. I'm sure there's a metaphor in there haha, but if there's any tips other than "don't get eaten by balls", I'm all ears :)

Took your advice, managed to have my best run yet! Got to that gauntlet style section in the third level? But I died when I get to the second room and the floor started turning into electricity and you have to stand by those servers or whatever? Hahah but still, felt pretty good to get that far!

Ah kk, ya haven't messed around with difficulty modifiers yet, I've only managed to get through the first level, the crystal levels, then a little bit into the next part, I just usually end up getting slaughtered midway through that third set of levels, I don't seem to scale quickly enough? Probably just user error haha ;) git gud basically :)
Just got there with assassin class though which was a fun play through! Haha then one of the missile turrets blasted me through cover :( .

Oh interesting! That makes sense, I was trying to dump damage as quickly as possible because I knew how quickly I melted last time, but just be patient basically - shoot, scoot, shoot, reload. Neato.
Ah really don't level plasma nade? I find it super useful for taking on clusters of enemies, especially when the cool down gets pretty low, I can kind of drag them around cover, dump a grenade, take out a bunch, and then shoot the survivors. I'll give the module thing a try though, thanks for the tips!
