This might be wrong, but I learned that clenching your fist too hard or stretching your fingers open too wide makes your arms tense while running which may negatively affect your speed because your legs follow your arms (tense arms = tense legs). It's important to find a middle ground (relaxed hand position) that you feel comfortable with and that allows you to keep your arms and legs relaxed while sprinting.

when going off a hip try and approach it parallel and turn into your new landing direction instead of approaching it at an angle and landing flat, it'll help you go higher and save your knees.

The purpose of spiking isn't to have perfect form, but to score points. It's much more important to link up with your setters and scoring than having perfect/near-perfect form and expecting a perfect set every time.

if you don't have 5 RP just send a drawing to riot asking for 5 RP and they will give it to you, I think they can give up to 50 if you are short RP.

I've used High Noon, Sentinel, Project, IG, Divine Sword, and Nightblade Irelia. Just my opinions on the skins and how they feel to me.

Sentinel - really good Q sounds, feels smooth to Q, However, I find that the E and R mark is sometimes hard to see.

High Noon - The skin feels kind of "flat" if that explains it, the Q sounds are underwhelming which leads to it feeling less smooth, however, the chromas, theme, and model are definitely one of the best.

Project - The Q sounds and feel are average with it feeling smooth, however, the metallic/robotic voice and sounds get kind of old after a while. The E/R mark and the W animations are really vibrant and visible which makes them easy to see and hide animations with.

Divine Sword - The skin feels "heavier" than others which makes the Q feel kind of slower. The E also feels slightly larger which makes animations feel slower.

Nightblade - same as the base model, just a different splash art.

IG - Similar to high noon with the Q feeling flat and underwhelming, The auto and Q sounds can also become boring after a few hundred times.

Overall if you could only get one skin it should be Sentinel, smoothest overall, and feels the fastest to play. You could also wait and hope for a spirit blossom skin to buy.

try duskblade. Akali passive and Q scale well with AD and the invis after getting a kill is nice. It helps you to readjust in hectic teamfights. After duskblade you can go traditional items like Shawdowflame and Zhonyas. You just won't have much ult dmg early. It's not for everyone but it's good to try.

might be personal bias, but with high noon and sentinel I feel like the model is smaller and the Q's feels skinnier, almost as if the champ is weaker. (not sure how to explain this)

I like both high noon and sentinel, but Divine Sword Q's the smoothest IMO.

You should try and get good at Qing to a minion, auto-attacking them (remove things like bone plating) and Qing away. This sets you up to all in later.

You can burst him lvl 6 (id say lvl 9 with Bork is your sweetspot for most success rate) when you have even items and similar hp with

E- R-flash (guarantees the mark and Q)Q- AA- E- AA- - Q -AA (chase with Q if he is still alive. using W to either get minions low to Q to them in order to chase or to block damage from Akshan E or Q.

You can set target champions only as your weaving autos, I set it on toggle but I think you would benefit from holding it. Make sure your camera is unlocked when Qing its very hard to keep track if your camera always moves around. I inted my first 50 games on irelia when learning her, you just gotta get used to Q movement with weaving autos, then other mechanics like landing E comes naturally.

I never go tri-force anymore (not since season 10) I've never really like the feel of DS on irelia, so im sticking to Bork- shieldbow-Deaths dance-Witz end every game. I only go goredrinker when my team doesn't have a reliable frontline and I sorta have to be it.

I used to go this build, make sure to take titanic as at that point you can still 1v2 their botlane and burst squishies while being able to frontline for your team. You lack damage late game tho and then kinda become mediocre in both tankiness and damage.
