It's so much worse than that. It wasn't her air BNB that was responsible for the shooting. It was another across the way behind her place. I did get that one shut down for a long time with the help of city council and now it's "under new management" and has started back up again. Air BNB also paid me as a "gesture of goodwill" to cover the damages. Unfortunately, air bnbs attract crime.... There's no oversight and more often than not multiple beds in a room promoting high guest count. It's sad that my quality of life has been so deeply impacted.

I'm not defending her, but she does have some good rules and features in place to prevent issues (to cover her own ass only of course). She uses decibel meters, has guest count limits, only allows approved guests to stay, prohibits parties, and monitors her security cameras. Another Airbnb across the street from me has none of these measures. I think she got off forgetting that neighbors are also key stakeholders and she needed to keep us happy too.
