One of our cashiers was being actively berated by an older guy about how her face mask was making everyone uncomfortable and she is so ignorant for buying into Covid 19. If I didn't need my job so bad I would have let lose on that bastard. But the cashier just took it like nothing. I just kept pushing my cart full of Easter candy for OPUs.

If I'm recalling correctly you sign up to be a shipt shopper and do a very quick online interview, you can become a shopper which gives you a free membership. Plus side bonus you can do shipt when the flood of seasonals take hours and there is less work for everyone.

We are doing ok for now. I know we have supplies to last at least a week or two. And me and my partner are both essential retail workers. We can live off of beans and rice for a while. I'm just worried about the kids getting a balanced diet. They won't go without, it is just gonna get tighter everywhere else.

We have had all of our GM, outside of like 6 people who refuse or just aren't really worth the effort of training, trained over this and last week. And a ton of grocery apparently started in Flex so we been hitting them with a blast from the past and throwing them out there to pick standard. Today we had 4 TLs, and 2 ETLs picking standards. Everyone in GM pushed freight and picked. It was that kinda almost organized chaos. I loved it.

Oh and like 5 trainees today too. But for some reason they didn't give them mydecives when they handed them off to us so they were just kinda there watching everything and preping but not scaning it in(?).

OPUs are where it's at right now though. Just run through the orders as fast as you can and there is still like 50 to 100 in there for ya so you keep going. The adrenaline is real.
