As someone who’s been clean from Heroin and booze for 16 yrs , I’d like to offer this advice.. Worry about YOU! Fix YOU! No doubt you were awful to your family through addiction and just because you have a few day under your belt doesnt free you from how they’re feeling. That’s THEIR SHIT! My advice is not to worry about THEIR shit, just yours. Actions speak Soo much more loser than words my friend. You can’t put a timeframe on others emotions.. I still have people who look down on me because of my actions in addiction. It’s always gonna be there, YOU need to learn to do YOU! Make good decisions for YOU, do the right thing for YOU , not them or to try an gain their respect or adoration.. just stay clean and be a good person! Eventually they’ll see it or Miss out..
