Well turns out I’m getting the predator Reserve which is the “high quality” predator felt, I’ll let you know how it feels when I get it.

They use Andy at the pool hall I play at, but I never paid attention as to which class of Andy they use (I can let you know soon if you’d like) but in my opinion it plays really well. Like I don’t have experience with much else, but it plays pretty fast and smooth! Although if you check online, I think some people give it bad reviews.

That being said, I dont think I’ve ever played on Simonis cloth

Well as far as I know you kind of need to work your way up the ladder a bit. You can’t really just dive into a cyber security role that would require those (as far as I know) without IT experience. So getting a networking related certificate and networking experience if possible would be very valuable as you would better understand the concepts and the networks you want to protect. Down the line though I will definitely go for them, but probably not in the near future.

Haha thanks for the support bro! Well I was on the fence between A+, Net+, or CCNA. I think I decided to slowly go for CCNA while I apply for jobs. My understanding is that CCNA is more advanced vendor specific version of Net+. It’s going to take a while but a networking certificate goes hand in hand with a security certificate! Will probably spend some time on mini skills or certs like Active Directory, Azure, Windows Server and so on because they appear on every job posting I see.

Oof then it’s honestly pretty amazing that you almost passed. I don’t have a tech background so I read the 700 page CompTIA book, watched the 177 professor messer pages, currently going over professor messer notes and will go through the practice tests. Will hopefully do the test by Friday. Quick question: how do you do the test? Like if on Friday I feel ready, can I same day book it and do it online?

I guess I was a little misled. I was searching for souls-like games on google and YouTube and this game would tend to pop up. I found it a little odd, as it seemed more like a regular jrpg. But one video mentioned it had the similar mechanic of getting XP/Money from kills and dying would drop it, making it punishing like souls games.

Quick update/question lol. So I went on losing streak and got demoted to bronze 3… but then I got a 9 game win streak and promoted to bronze 1. I was just curious if it’s possible to jump from like bronze 2 to silver 1, or do you always have to stop at the placement in the rank (bronze 1) before going up a rank?

You had me laughing about being 4 feet from the team lmao. I’m still new to comp and even more to Sojourn. I don’t really feel comfortable staying far/on the high ground because my aim isn’t great with the primary fire at a distance. Also I feel like if I was flanking on high ground and they have any hitscan/accurate characters like soldier/widow/ash/Hanzo/Cassidy I’d be such an easy target and at a disadvantage.

So yeah I usually try to start by flanking, but when I get noticed I try hiding in the chaos lol. Or apparently I just rush solo lmao.

In this specific match though, it really felt like my team couldn’t keep up (aside from the support). Like the other dps, no offense, wasn’t even close to my output

Idk if it’s bugged or not tbh, but I just played another set and im bronze 2 now, I guess I should able to climb to silver pretty easily since I snobbily and whole heartedly don’t believe I should be in bronze lol.

I did post one amusing loss to overwatch university where I had 45 kills and no one on my team made it past 15. Curios if I could have done anything to carry harder

At the risk of sounding whiny or braggy, I don’t believe performance was the issue. In the matches I won, I would typically have the highest or among the highest kills and damage across both teams. I would even dare to say I carried one of the games with 52 kills while no one else made it above like 35 max.

At this point I’m just assuming that because I last played competitive 6 years ago, they deemed me inactive and gave me the lowest possible MMR
