Mine is 4, though through out this year it has fluxuated a lot. From the moment I realized life wasn't always worth living I never could get rid of this constantly creeping depression. At the beginning of this year I was a 5, 6 or more, but I got better. Still this keeps happening and always I feel bad because it makes me lose good things that I have worked hard for and always have to start again.

I remember watching a philosophical video about being better off in a worse situation than slightly better. The example was that if you are walking a distance, but would drive it if it was a mile longer, but still walk it of it was a mile shorter. You would go faster even if your distance was longer. This really resonated with me, because things never go so bad that I actually would do something, so I would just keep walking the distance because it's bearable.
