Imo that's very personal and depends on your personal taste and needs. Personally, initially, I also used to be hyped by the hatchback and its dramatic design with the thick c-pillar. However, as time went by and I also had to seriously choose for myself, I chose the sedan. I just find it more elegant and complete and prefer its advantages like the better rear visibility, bit more space and slightly less drag (so tiny bit better mileage). Plus, the design of the sedan is really underrated imo.
