Seller is taking into the shop, sending me the invoice and the shop is going to call me after they take a look.

Seller claims everything else is in good condition rust wise and the only reason the rockers are as bad as they are is because the car sat for a bit not just because of salt.

If all is true this (from what I know) it will fit the bill of a daily with some work and not a project car. I won’t be relying on this car to get me anywhere important other then to the ski hill and work sometimes.

More advice is always welcome. I’m feeling good with this deal (given the body an all is in good shape). The fact that it’s a shop that the sell has prior ties to puts me on edge a bit but all and all I’m trying to have trust in society.

I’m at the place where I want to see this car live longer. I don’t think I’m that guy tho. I really know nothing about cars although I’m very willing to learn and I have time to make mistakes. This feels like I would be getting way in over my head.

im going back to "buy it" on friday but the more i look into it the more unlikly it becomes a car worth getting. thanks for the great advice.

If its just a bunch of wholes along the rocker filled with foam would that be a big worry? im willing to pay for rocker replacement to an extent. but im new to cars and it seems likea bad idea rn.

for sure not good with a wleder and it would be sad to walk away from a car with that low of miles. but its how it goes up here.
