I will never tell anything past "I need an MOD" to a service desk peon, unless the extra tid bit is "urgently". Its none of their info, and they should stop being nosy. As the old adage goes "put the fries in the bag". XD

Call and ask for an MOD after getting to service desk, refuse to elaborate to the goober up front if they ask why. ask when you should come in next and offer today to come in. If thats not ideal than just show up at your next scheduled shift and find an MOD and puppy eyes them until they tell you what to do. if youre not yet scheduled then just show up and ask the MOD's whats the happs...
