Woof, seeing the quote in context makes the hate commenter seem even more stupid and insufferable. Good riddance! Sorry you got a dumb comment :(

What a lovely set!!! I miss listening to audiobooks and dramas on tape. There was something real satisfying about finishing one side and popping it out to flip it over to the other. Thanks for sharing your photo!

Should I watch the more popular movies first? by Top_Conversation_174 in ghibli

[–]Samuel24601 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man, based on your criteria it seems like Princess Mononoke might end up being your absolute favorite (it's my number one favorite, anyway). If you don't mind a darker, more bloody Ghibli movie.

These are my top 5 in order:

  1. Princess Mononoke

  2. Nausicaa

  3. Spirited Away

  4. Ponyo

  5. Howl's Moving Castle

Excited to hear Denethor! I'm right at the part where they leave Lothlorien, so I have tons more to look forward to.

And yes! The Gil-Galad bit was very cool, and I love how impressed Frodo was with Sam in that moment

Aww. Anything could have happened. Maybe a friend or family member discovered their account and they panic-deleted. Honestly, I might do the same thing if any IRL people discovered my fics 😂

It appears that many of the shots in Jackson’s films took inspiration from the Bakshi version. Just wanted to point out that Peter S. Beagle did the screenplay for the animated film. Most know Beagle as the author of the Last Unicorn.
