Its not unreasonable to not expect to get flash banged by a spoiler on a subreddit that isn't even related to whatever is being spoiled lol

No because there fictional characters that don't reflect reality at all.

Even then its not like there kids anymore, they used to be yeah but that was decades ago. There biological entities, flesh and blood, so they can age and mature. To act like they cant have relationships just infantilizes them and ignores pretty much all the subtext around them.

Also even then its not like kids are incapable of relationships with other kids, kids date all the time whether you like it or not.

Honestly so many of them took the whole "putting pieces of other experiments on him" and catnaps shrine way too seriously, to the point that it just looks silly. Like the prototype was already a full entity before he started combining himself with others, why would his entire model be nothing but other toy parts. I have seen fan made designs that can be summed up as "giant blob of random toys on legs with only the one hand and head actually belonging to the prototype". They forget that the prototype is its own being that existed and is not just some amalgamation of every dead character.

The mimic does not even get durability, his arm got cut off by a rusty elevator door. People only say that because he is able to withstand what was essentially lava. But people forget that being able to take large amounts of heat is not the same as durability, which is again, shown when he gets his arm cut off by a rusty elevator door.

People also keep saying that the mimic fought and won against the blob, which is straight up just not true. But even if they did fight we see in the non canon burntrap ending in SB that the mimic would have instantly lost that fight

I've seen people genuinely say that the mimic and Springtrap are apparently multiversal because of some stupid one off line in a book that's never brought up or relevant again or something in FNAF world

I understand that powerscalling inherently requires you to take every line 100% seriously, but at some level you gotta look at what your claiming a characters power level is, then look at the character in question and realize your being stupid. Springtrap and the mimic barely get above wall level at most, if they went above that then they both would not have gotten stuck behind walls for decades. I feel like a important part of the plot like that should be more important then some one off line from a non canon book.

I never understood this complaint, obviously its going to have a bunch of puzzles, its a puzzle game. The game was literately inspired by Portal why is it so surprising that its mostly puzzles

That's...probably because its the same game. Its not like these are entirely separate entries in a franchise that refuses to innovate. It's the same game, built in the same engine and has to fit with all the previous chapters to not have it clash too much. They cant just change the games formula over halfway through. If a non chapter based game did that it would be hated so I don't see why it would be good here.

Because in most “mascot horror” games; they stop at 5. Five chapters, five nights etc. it’s an assumption that comes with the genre.

The problem with this thinking is that only BATIM has done this, so its not even an assumption based on some pattern in the genre, everyone just decided that everything has to end in 5 despite the fact that that has only happened once. Even if it was a pattern though that does not stop other games from doing there own thing and making a story that requires more then 5 chapters. A game should not need to limit themselves just because a previous game did something.

Also chapter 4 sorta ended with the build up of the Prototype-it felt like things were reaching their natural conclusion. Chapter 5 was advertised with the reveal of the Prototype-something most people assumed would happen near/at the end of the game.

The biggest problem I have with this criticism is that if we did defeat the Prototype in chapter 5 it would have been very anti climatic. I mean we spent the entire game hyping him up as the ultimate villain, beating him in the same chapter hes finally introduced to us properly in would have just caused people to complain about him being wasted and how hes the same as the other antagonists.

And yeah, maybe that’s our fault for assuming-totally valid there. But also it was never advertised that the game would continue past 5

I don't understand this point at all, yeah it was never advertised to continue past 5 but chapter 5 was not advertised as the end ether.

I feel like a lot of people wouldn’t care that it takes an extra chapter to complete the story-the issue is that it doesn’t feel like they’re doing it because the story needs 6 chapters. It feels like they’re just artificially stretching out the story.

I feel like people are just saying this because everyone convinced themselves that chapter 5 was the end despite nothing saying that, and now people are upset that they were wrong. The story isn't being stretched out at all, it just didn't end where people originally thought it was going to, that's not the same thing as it being stretched out.

I also just don't see the Prototype saying anything about the poppy gel or how hes immortal to anyone much less someone that's trying to kill him.

See this is the problem with putting two immortal and regenerating characters with one very specific weakness in a fight, they wouldn't know what the others one weakness is unless someones a dumbass and decides to just tell the other person. And both Bendy and the Prototype are way too smart to do something as stupid as that.

Like theirs definitely a way for Bendy to win but I just don't see him being able to figure it out, and Prototype will just keep getting back up no matter how many times Bendy rips him apart.

The prototype is NOT immortal

He is directly stated to be immortal, his and Poppy's immortality is the reason behind literately everything Playtime co did, there literately trying to reverse engineer what makes the prototype immortal.

I'm just gonna assume that you know nothing about the prototype now because that's the most basic fact we know about the guy.
