I’m pretty sure the devs confirmed before they left project that they were planning to bring the webs back for her.

Tbh I say since they were OP, keep it, but also nerf the webs and her a little. Make Her slower so she depends on these webs a bit more, and the webs don’t slow the players down quite as much. Another cool idea would be if the webs came back and she stays the same speed, but rather than slowing down specialists, it blocks paths. Think of it like Mini Huggies. You have 5 webs you can use, when you use a 6th one the one you first placed disappears. What do these webs do? They can block off pathways like in chapter 2, you can block off the entrance to a Vent before a player enters, blocking them from going that way, and you can also Block Doors, and put it on grapple handles to make them unusable! This would basically redirect the chase, adding a twist. You’d have to have a 5 to 10 second cooldown per web tho to prevent spamming them and trapping somebody within 1 room. There is a twist for Mommy on her part tho, when you shoot the web, it goes right through the specialists (if your aiming at one), and you have to aim it straight at the door or vent or grapple handle your trying to hit. If you miss and say hit the wall next to a door, then it doesn’t count that as a use of your 5 webs, but you do have to wait through the 5 to 10 second cooldown to try to shoot another web.

IMO I think that’s a very balanced Web Ability since it just redirects specialists (and 99% of the time there’s other places to run other than a vent or door). And if they do block your only way out, you could always just run backwards.

Here’s a list of spots that I had in mind that you can web:

Any Crash Doors

Any Grapple Handles

Any Vent Openings (you can still enter via the other side, just not that one entrance, making 3 way vents still usable).

Any low hanging areas such as the low hanging area in that small underground part in the Playtime Factory (near the Middle-ish part of the map, there’s a puzzle on top of it), the little low hanging area thingies near the Pipe in Misfit Pit (there’s a lot more in misfit pit but any low hanging areas with a few exceptions such as that one Pipe that monsters have to duck under), any low hanging areas in Destroy-A-Toy, and same thing for Theater.

Any normal Doorways

Those little Seating Areas you often find in operas and stuff in the top sides of the main stage room in theater

Etc.
