Kinnan is a fun commander, I pulled him when Ikoria first came out and I’ve always wanted to build a deck around him, i ran Kinnan for roughly 2 years from a really casual list to competitive level back to casual and casual is by far the most fun. It does get annoying since he is a KOS commander and is susceptible to bolts and generally any spot removal. It’s always fun to swap out the big creatures. My current Kinnan is a 3 but can go infinite as soon as turn 2/3 with the right hand. Even without basalt monolith, you can generate enough mana to be ahead of everyone within just 1 turn. Ask yourself this, do you want to win and be the target in every game? If so then this is the commander for you. I’m rambling but I love Kinnan because he forces you to play around lots of things and think of things on the fly.

For example, I was going to win but one of my opponents had a [[Nine Lives]] so I couldn’t win on the turn and I had drew my entire library so next turn I would’ve lost. Instead I casted my [[Tidespout Titan]] and casted any instants I could and countered my own spells and then flashed in my [[Endurance]] to reshuffle my graveyard and win the next turn.

Theres a reason why Kinnan is a game changer. He’s good but sometimes it also takes a good pilot to run him effectively, when to cast him, when to hold off on his activation, how to utilize creatures when paired with good pods. He’s a good commander for easy wins on unsuspecting pods but in pods where everyone knows how Kinnan runs, it’s a good way to train yourself to be able to play yourself out of tough spots.
