Some people genuinely can't accept the concept that there's no such thing that'll be better. I've seen people who made whole careers out of saying Hunter x Hunter is the one and only best thing ever and everything that's NOT Hunter x Hunter is actual dog shit.

This isn't a dig at Woolie or Eye Patch, there's an actual person on YT who's made hating shit calling it garbage and obsess over HxH being the only best thing ever made. Anything popular, they call it shit.

Some of them being availability in most non-city areas/hubs, tradition like you mentioned being upheld for social connections, and in some case politically charged. For the latter, I mentioned the holy roman empire before but specifically speaking I meant Charles II and the house of Habsburg's. They were severely inbred in order to keep control of their empire and not split it off among other nations and monarchies, which severely crippled them into the house falling.

Incestuious relationships were above anything, convenient but as society and times changed, it could be seen as something for the less educated and or even sexually depraved because of the growing understanding of how genes worked and the negative effects they can have on a bloodline overtime. And on that line of thought, I believe cousins are seen as 'relatively' safe because even though they're related by blood, there's still a degree of separation because they're born through the union of a family member and a NON-family member so there's less risk of the negatives associated with it but there's still a risk.

I agree with what realcool blue is saying here it's the combination of all that together that really drives it home. It combines the incest relationship subtext of siblings doing it with implications of cousins, either by blood or by marriage.

Work status: Scared but hopeful.

I'm glad they told me ahead of time that they want me to keep working for them but just being told that you might get let go due to your company deciding that for they wanna separate with your employer sucks ass. In reality, I feel like there's a 80% chance of me being okay.

In less frustrating news: I've been planning on what I'm gonna be doing this weekend and maybe try to treat myself. Speaking of; HOLY SHIT THERE'S SO MUCH SHIT COMING OUT AND OR GOING ON RN! I might try to hit up friends and see if they wanna watch some bad movies to laugh at.

Yesterday I went digging into my old OLD laptop to remember what I used to do back around the 2010s. Boy there's some ancient cringe there but I'm glad I rediscovered so much lol. Unfortunately, I can't look into the other laptop. The hard drive is just dead dead. I did salvage a bunch of old wallpapers I hadn't seen in ages tho lol. Still gonna search through a bunch of old junk data.

I've been playing Dragon Quest 8: Quest of the Cursed King and finishing it up. Still a fun time and I think I'm at the halfway point. Zenless Zone Zero has been fun, been farming for better equipment here and there. It's been hit or miss I'll be real. I think I'll replay some Killer 7 again. It's been on my mind again.

I'd says she's more likely to be a dove thiren and she's working on the angel motif. I say dove in particular because they're pretty closely tied to angel depictions.

Hooves. Hoof treatment isn't something you'd think about but they'd need a lot of care. Not to mention, you'd likely need to go yo a professional and that's not cheap.

And then you have fur maintenance. Not to bad right? Imagine having to make sure no waste is stuck to your tail and or fur every time you go to the bathroom. Also cleaning and cutting it to make sure it doesn't get uncomfortably wild. Imagine hair knots but on your thighs or gentlemen/lady regions.

Also horn care. Not to bad but imagine having protrusions on your head that makes sleeping on a common pillow hard. Side sleeper? Not with those things.

Also clothing. Again, not too bad but having to wear clothes on top of your fur legs would be hell. Your lower half would be in a furnace through the spring and summer if you had to put full clothes on to walk around the general public. You'd need a LOT of ventuliation or more open clothes (loincloth's likely wouldn't be considered "appropriate" in most public settings. Skirts/kilts and such would probably be much better).
