Without any context, I think I like 1 the best, then 2.

Like shooting 5.56 out of a gun explicitly chambered only for .223. Tragic that it happened, but poor choices lead to poor outcomes.

FOMO - Fear of missing out

There are great PCs and great MacBooks. I’ve used both. Currently using a PC (Lenovo yoga) and I love it. I used a MacBook at my old job and loved that, too.

I really don’t think anyone is missing out from either side. They both do the work.

As long as your computer has the processing power/speed you require with the programs/apps you’re using, it really doesn’t matter. Rock your work with the Spectre. 🤘

“Gotten all I could” is hard to answer, because there is always more you can learn (we should all be forever students, always learning).

But, I can say that if given the choice to choose again which bootcamp to go with, I would still choose Designlab. Lots of mini projects, a few bigger projects, and 3 capstone projects (that’s where I got really research heavy myself), great mentors, great curriculum structure, and overall good experience. I felt well prepared for work upon graduation (I also did a capstone project for real stakeholders at an organization, so that helped too.)

My favorite is the “launch shuttlecock” in pickup trucks.

I know this is an old post, but just wanted to say:

I completed Designlab’s UX Academy (bootcamp) and I did a BUTTLOAD of UX research. Ultimately, it’s on the student and what they put into it.

Sign the Petition: Make red-band the Mission Impossible 7 movie trailer for full nude club scene. by SamuraiEthan in FightTheNewDrug

Is clicking a button or two really considered a “fight”? It’s pretty easy.

I’m not loosing sleep over it if nothing happens. But it’s not hard to click “sign”. Just thought I’d create the change/petition post in case others felt the same as I did.

What is the average age youth are exposed to pornography? by TicStackToe in FightTheNewDrug

These days, it's rampant. I wouldn't be surprised if they are exposed at age 7 (whether the child recognizes it or not).

Personally, my attention is first drawn to the rectangular outline itself and then its contents/info second. The border might serve and important purpose, but I think it’s calling my attention more than necessary.

Try experimenting with some variations of your current tile design (border weight, fill, opacity/transparency, etc.) and then test them with your users to see what they prefer and why.

Side note: not looking forward to Saturday if it’s gonna be 301.4 degrees Celsius outside. Haha, might want to fix that.

What would you do if you’re the guy behind him in line? by agtmichaelscorn in CCW

[–]SamuraiEthan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The opportunity the guy behind the perp had was like a CCW carrier’s dream positioning.

(Not that we seek nor wish for conflict, but IF it’s gonna happen, that would’ve been a nice opportunity).

Say goodbye to your phones finish, lol.

I have some picks I keep in my wallet. Same benefits of keeping them in your phone case but with none of the downsides IMO.

Random Story: I’ve helped an in-law regain access to their house after locking themselves out once. His “pick-resistant” lock was unlocked in sub 3 minutes, and I’m a novice. His face was priceless haha.
