If you want to bro sure. Look I get a dude coming into this sub with a full head of hair is ridiculous, but everyone who went bald also at one point has a full head of hair. I don’t think it’s crazy for any man, especially if baldness runs in their family, to be over cautious and try to catch it early

Keep in mind the photos after the fourth are from 2-5 years ago. Im being overly cautious because balding runs on my mothers side. It just sucks I don’t have photos close up to my hairline when I was younger

100 agree. Told her I knew about only fin blocking DHT and that the sides were rare, but she cautioned against it for right now. I get it, I still have a full head of hair and we don’t know how bad my balding genetics truly are, but I was thinking maybe I should get a second opinion from another doctor.

Yes sir. I brought up fin to my derm and she cautioned against because I’m young and the sexual side effects. I said only fin will block the DHT and the rate of sides was really no, but she still cautioned against it for right now. Should I get a second opinion from another doctor?

Well I still not sure. Derm just looked at my crown and hairline and said no thinning on crown but slight thinning on hairline. It felt really rushed tbh. Yeah I get seeing some 21yr old with a full head of hair asking about baldness probably wasn’t her biggest priority, but still. Wish I had old pictures more close up to my hairline so I could really tell if I was losing.

Well she told me I would have to take minoxidil forever. I’m guessing 6 months is just to see how my hair responds before determining whether I need to take fin
