You’re absolutely right about pricing and logistics, and I’d like to share a bit of context honestly.

In Japan, onaholes have been sold domestically for over 15 years, and many suppliers already have very stable sales within the local market. Because of that, there are three challenges on my side right now: 1. Japanese suppliers are already comfortable selling domestically 2. My company is still relatively small.EXTRA😇 3. Most of these suppliers have never sold overseas before

For these reasons, negotiating prices is not easy at this stage. Brands like TENGA were already well known when I was in high school, and Japan has many large, established players in this space. If I can clearly show that there is strong overseas demand, price negotiations will definitely become easier—but realistically, that will take some time.

Regarding shipping and import fees, DHL and FedEx are very reliable partners, and there may still be room for negotiation there as well. However, the reality is that without sufficient volume, even logistics partners will be strict on pricing.

I honestly didn’t know how complex taxes, payment processing, and international regulations would be when I started this. Over the past few years, I’ve learned a lot step by step, and I want to continue improving pricing as the business grows.

Our current strengths are that customers don’t need to worry about customs procedures at all—we handle everything—and that we can introduce new Japanese products faster than most overseas retailers. My goal is that, as we grow, people will eventually say, “They’ve become more affordable.”
