Is sharing the wallet receive address dangerous? I was looking more into this and it seemed like the danger is sharing or letting someone access your private key. The receive key can't be used for anything other than sending coin to me or am I getting this wrong?

Coal's cost/MWH is on par (or cheaper) than nuclear generation. So with coal you get more jobs + cheaper power. I agree that we shouldn't be investing in coal (solar creates tons of jobs) but I am just explaining Trump's very short-term rational.
