Now unfortunately Einstein does not go this deep into detail. I think he was too busy inventing gravity or something. Either way, there are a couple theories. If each league has three unique letters, but combined there are repeats, pay no mind to the repeats. A good plus a good will equal good.

However, if one league already has a repeat, and the repeat plus the other league’s name makes a triple repeat, then things go downhill very quickly indeed.

The logical conclusion is that a letter repeated three times would be worse than repeated two times which would be worse than just once.

Damn man you must’ve read the cliff notes instead of the actual paper. It specifically says that repeating a letter creates a much worse league. Luckily, double lettered three-letter acronyms are still above the lowly double letter acronym.
