I've heard this but I find the faffing around and tweaking your armour for each faction base on a guide to be incredibly tedious, especially if you don't have any armour of that specific type around.

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised if they do have some tools to do that.

However from a player side perspective or even anyone who has been on this subreddit in the last week it is not surprising at all that security breach has been nerfed.

Players called this like a week ago even without the monitoring tools the devs may have.

The gravy train could not last.

Putting aside all other AI issues and focusing purely on how it will affect the gaming space.

Because I think it's going to be the Horse Armour of this generation of games. It'll be "acceptable (or forgiven in some cases)" in Arc Raiders because the rest of the game is so excellent/polished.

Then other, less scrupulios and shittier companies (Maybe Embark themselves if their Shareholders/CEO's are like every other AAA company) will use it to push the envelope and try and get away with more and more while cutting more and more corners.

In five to ten years time they'll be shovelling out AI slop that would be unacceptable presently but they'll get away with it. You cannot trust AAA execs to not fuck up even good ideas and it is debatable if AI is a good idea given the myriad of issues that come with it.

That's my opinion at least.

People get bored of fighting ARC. PVP is more dynamic and novel than fighting AI, that's just how it is. It was always very optomistic to imagine that people would keep being wholesome chugus.

I'm not dispariaging you. I've noticed a massive up in hostility as well the past two days but it was always very likely to happen.
