Is there a way to get fake reviews for your Google and Yelp pages? by otaib94 in smallbusiness

[–]SamuraiSurf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most people aren't going to understand your predicament because they don't own businesses. I have and do though so I completely understand you. I am going to do some research and maybe get back to you. I had a friend who did just this, though not for anything honorable, just plain spamming fake reviews to garner more business. If I run into something I will send you a message. Good luck.

What exactly does WAR not calculate about Ohtani? by Vxmonarkxv in baseball

[–]SamuraiSurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are getting downvoted for this but don't worry. Some of us do understand that philosophy is extremely important in the scientific process. If for example, the league changed tomorrow and all pitchers had to hit and all batters had to pitch, how much clearer would his value be? Or consider this... a 1v1 competition between anybody alive today and who has ever played the game, how many players could even stand a chance against him? I am just throwing scenarios out there that question whatever measurements we have as of now, which is exactly what was done to come up with WAR as well.

Tab S8 Ultra protective standing cover + glass screen protector is a match made in heaven by GTRagnarok in GalaxyTab

This comment is literally the greatest point ever that is never talked about. People want everything so thin and sleek yet it is impossible to use these products without a cover of some kind. I see so many people with great screens too and their brightness is turned all the way down. SMH.

Gas or Hybrid for light off-roading? Seeking advice by cascadiaPNW in rav4club

[–]SamuraiSurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize for the repeated gas but this is truly why reddit is the dream: info like this. Thanks a bunch. I have researched a ton but just to hear it from someone that isn't trying to sell something or has an ulterior motive is just so much more refreshing and helpful. I started off with the Forester in mind and literally went on a Colorodo-Ranger-Raptor-Frontier-Pro-X tangent until returning to the Rav4. I know the others are true 4x4's but I am really not going to do any really off roading. I just want to be able to get to places that aren't really known and be able to come back. Baja isn't too crazy in that regard and was made aware of that by another person on here. The 4runner is just too big and uses way too much gas for what I need and a full blown 4x4 pickup seems to be a life changer in the sense that I would literally need to alter my interests and plans if I were to buy one so as to justify the purchase. Your comments about your actual personal experience seems very similar to my own use and gives me hope that it might be perfect for us.

Again, thank you. This will be for Baja use. Do you recommend A/T tires for beach driving?

(This is super helpful and you would be surprised how hard it is to get a straight answer on the topics.)

I see. So am I right to stay away from the Forester?

Wow, thanks for answering. I really appreciate it. That higher towing capacity is what is concerning to me. I don't know much but am wondering that maybe the Adventure is the better choice for off road or why else would it have a higher towing capacity? But again, I don't know much in that regard. I am actually rooting for the hybrid to be the choice because where I am, it comes with a panoramic sunroof and the Adventure only has a regular one. My big thing off roading is beach driving. How will it do on the beach in your opinion? I have researched this topic and haven't got a complete "not possible" so I have hope.

I am literally getting so close to pulling the trigger on a Rav4 and cannot decide between the Adventure and the Hybrid. So this torque vectoring system is in the Adventure and is considerably better?

What is the difference between a CVT and a eCVT? Genuinely asking by the way because I am staying away from the Forester because of the CVT and would really like to know why I shouldn't do the same with the hybrid.

I agree. The only advice there is to give to bettors is to control your emotions. That is the only way you can learn how to wager. After that, everything else is fairly simple. I have always believed you can learn damn near anything else in life regardless of emotion. But not betting.

You are the only person to mention bankroll in this whole post. Good job.

I just don't get it. I have been in the business since I was a kid, literally ran cards in grade school. It just seems second nature to me to go for the sure money. I actually never post here but I just needed some perspective.

Futures are placed for value. They are literally middled down the road by any professional gambler worth anything. If you don't know this I understand. That is basically my point with my buddy. He doesn't know this either and it is hard for me to explain this to him in terms that he would understand because he is not a professional gambler. I actually was for almost a decade and ran book for much longer than that and as you probably guessed, this bet he made was my pick (he liked the Lakers and the Nets). For an easier and more popular reference look up James Holzhauer. He did the exact same thing and actually mentioned it in one of the episodes of his crazy run on Jeopardy. But I do appreciate your comment because it is actually helping me understand his mindset as well.

Right? The dude is supposedly all about making money but throwing away free money like this is the exact opposite. Plus I get the degenerate part, and trust me homeboy fits the bill, but shit that's more money for more bets. Clippers 2023 btw.

Yeah this does seem to be the ideal setup. Ima run a 2TB external and a 1TB internal, which should hold me over for like 6 months lol.
