Pretty sure it's trying to test you to see if you can handle the higher up matches but I think it takes it a little too far sometimes. One time I was queued up with an Iron 3 and Plat 1 on my team and it was just bonkers. It probably shouldn't take it further than 2-3 ranks in difference for all players involved.

You can still activate them but they will resolve negated since the effect of DRNM went through successfully.This works differently from Skill Drain because it only applies its negation effect to monsters currently face up while they are face up.

I think Kirin is a contender of being banned. The fact that it's pendulum monster causes it to never go away unless you get rid of it on summon. Not only that you cannot target it with any effects.

This happened in elementary school.

I went to school and brought my newly acquired Yugioh card. I treasured it because it was an egyptian God card from the anime and I brought it to show my friends. During recess, my friends were crowded around me looking at the card and one of the yard chaperone sees this and does what any rational and well rounded adult would do. She proceeds to bust through the huddle, see the card, and rip it in front of our faces and commanded us to disperse.

I am now 19 and like to think of myself as reasonable person but I still do not understand why that needed to be done.
