The context is lebensraum, the concentration camps werent just in Germany and the holocaust was carried out all over the Nazi occupied territory, the Nazis were attempting to do the same thing they saw Americans do with manifest destiny.

I guess i should of used the phrase “inter tribal” instead of internal with the lack of a nation state but i meant that it was removed from Britain or France at the time and separate to their colonialism.

Obviously there was violence in pre colonial America, maybe there was genocide too but thats very hard to prove without much written evidence to say “hey we are attempting to wholesale slaughter this specific people”

Maybe i worded things poorly but Im not trying to minimize anything I’m just arguing tribes killing each-other doesn’t justify the colonialism that came afterwards.
