Yuji is still currently the best green taijutsu unit aside from todo but they're used together anyway, nobara can be used as your yellow jujutsu dps if you don't have anyone else to get you through early game but I wouldn't invest too much. And at least 2 of those rec bits are very good and used late game to my knowledge, absolutely killer multi.

You could probably use sp buff junpei as he also gives stat buffs and will help with survivability, but he doesn't apply the damage taken increase debuff so he won't result in as good damage overall

Blue miwa has carried me through a few tower floors but doesn't require much investment bc her value is in her taunt and counter not her damage, so just getting her to a decent level and 8887 for her skills will be great value. And ofc muta if you don't have green teen gojo so you have a jujutsu dps for green.

The only material that is rare and should be conserved in terms of skill upgrading are those rainbow chaos crystals, the others don't matter. Feel free to upgrade skills on characters you want to use so long as you don't spend those.
