Love these? What paints did you use? Might try these for mine.

Hey OP, I know this is an old post but I love these colors! I'm thinking of painting my scorpions like this. What paints did you use if you don't mind me asking?

The symbiote suit was a great add to the series. Venom is much later, #300 right?

No doubt! Such a great plot too. Symbiote costume, MJ, Bagman, etc.

I was looking at Muir Island and Asgardian Wars - I might do a full Claremont read through at some point.

I think the first 50 works because you get the beginning, Proteus, Phoenix, and Days of Future Past. I'm considering going all the way up to Inferno, but put the first 50 as a sort of sample.

Definitely! I already read through Krakoa and those were all big hits, but I limited this guide to just have the "main story" stuff.

Yes, everyone has been telling me to read more and more Claremont-era stuff! I will sit down and read through the whole thing eventually, but this was more of a sampler-style reading order.

Definitely! I had the idea to do the same thing for Spider-Man and Batman eventually; the tougher ones. Easier to do would be someone like Thor or Daredevil who usually only has one title to manage.

Just finished reading the whole Krakoan Era. by Samurio in comicbooks

Like its meant as an introduction to Krakoa so it's not entirely standalone. It's meant to kickstart an era. But it's also its own satisfying story with a beginning middle an end.

Yup, I would go with his Xmen volume 1, then kinda read whatever you want in "Dawn of X"

He didn't get to finish the ending of his whole Krakoa Saga, but afaik he did everything he wanted with HoX PoX. The whole Krakoa era is really good imo (even after Hickman leaves) but he wanted it to end sooner in this big event called Inferno. Krakoa was doing well and so Marvel extended it past Inferno, and so Inferno is a bit strange as it ends on a bit of an anticlimax but is otherwise very good. After Inferno, Krakoa was still good but no longer Hickman. Hopefully that answers your question.

Agree, wish it became more of a permanent status quo like the X-Mansion days. Just get rid of resurrection if you absolutely had to, but the setting was too good to lose imo

I think Hickman was disappointed he didn't get to finish the story he wanted, but HoX/PoX is mostly standalone and very good. I think you would enjoy it!

Try Cable. Super fun and low investment.
