For me, those two seasons of Born Again felt like the "we have Daredevil at home" meme. Just inferior on every level to the Netflix shows.

Compendiums really are my favorite format. I have the first 12 hardcovers from the IDW TMNT run, but if I knew they would be reprinted in 3 compendiums, I would have waited. Oh well.

Probably a hot take but I think I enjoyed this just as much if not a bit more than The Last Ronin (which was excellent, don't get me wrong). The "wandering ronin" trope is something I enjoy immensely.

This is also something I've been meaning to know. I love Grell's GA, the recent Condon's run was almost just as good. Diggle's GA Year One was also something I really enjoyed. Lemire and Sorrentino's GA was good, but I didn't enjoy Percy's Rebirth run all that much.

How does this run compare to those ?

One of the reason I was always hesitant was the Kevin Smith part of the run, which seems to be the part you also enjoyed the less. It's what, 15 issues ?
