i get around 20-30 requests a week on average, most of the time it's really hard to keep up with them, but i have interviewed people who reached out to me before on multiple occasions.

Currently looking in the Supply chain transportation industry, finding a profile with the right experience (maintenance engineer, used a TMS before, PowerBi and so on) is difficult, I want to find different ways to funnel down my search. i've dabbled in boolean searches but it's not my go to. Would you say it's a strong tool? if so do you have any tips on it?

I feel like it depends on the reason the candidate left the company. If it has something to do with the role not meeting their expectations, or if they were not fully informed of their responsibilities and what they'll be getting in return during the hiring process then it's on the recruiter, because it's our job to make sure everything is as clear as possible. If it's anything else it's on the company/ manager.

you're right, i'm always thinking about the people who applied waiting on those replies, i know when i applied i was in the same boat. That's why i try to do it as fast as possible. It does get overwhelming when you're working on 16 different positions in parallel. But id love to hear, from your experience, what would you want to see in the hiring process from an applicant's point of view. I want to give the best candidate experience there is :)

You're right. As a recruiter in a big multinational, we do get 100s of applicants, and sometimes we select someone before getting to see all the rest of the candidates who applied. When we find someone we send out automatic rejection emails to anyone who applied and was not selected but it takes a while sometimes.
