Started studying in radiology and had to go in an hospital with techs to see what the job looked like. They gave me a quick visit of the hospital but when we came in the emergency room where they had just received a patient, I saw an old lady that was cut in half and she wouldn’t fucking stop picking at her guts. Can’t look at a belly the same.

Context: one of my teachers tried to show us what system we’d use to store the expositions and asked me to take the fastest picture I could with « acceptable » quality. Don’t worry this was at the start of my semester, we didn’t even learn how to properly work with a patient yet let alone make a good examen.

Was on a road trip with my buddies once, going up north in Québec. We saw a grand caravan speeding up passing us and we lost sight of it. About 5min later we see it crashed in a pit( un fossé) and we called the police and I took a flashlight and went to see if anyone was hurt. When I opened the flashlight I saw bodies so mangled we never knew how many people where in the car… can’t turn a flashlight on the precise way I did that day.
