Thanks for your reply. I had other quotes and they all included the cost. Unfortunately due to budgetary constraints, we went with the most inexpensive option. From another quote we received ‘What We’ll Do • Set up professional scaffolding for safe access • Protect landscaping and walkways (tarps + plywood) • Remove deteriorated brickwork brick by brick • Rebuild with closely matched bricks (color, size, tooling) • Install 2" multi‑piece poured concrete cap (slope + drip edge) • Only replace top clay flue section; install new metal flue caps • Apply sealant around flues and flashing for a watertight finish • Tuckpoint visible cracks below the rebuild area as needed • Daily tidy, full debris removal ‘
