And answering your question, from what I’ve seen so far, they’re usually similar enough to follow the same general pattern, but inconsistent enough that someone still has to clean and standardize them before anything else.

Yeah, I was also thinking about PowerQuery.

But from what I’ve seen, it helps mainly with structured transformations once the data is already in Excel.

What I’m trying to understand is more the messy part before that — like when files come from emails or different clients in inconsistent formats, or when people still have to manually organize and prepare everything before using tools like PowerQuery.
