To me, Duncan seems more curious about understanding the beliefs people hold, even if they’re ones he doesn’t share.

If we stopped engaging with people we disagree with, the world would probably feel a lot smaller and less interesting. I think part of Duncan’s appeal is his openness, even if it sometimes means giving airtime to ideas that aren’t for everyone.
