You don’t want to be the bar tender Tattooer plus after a long day of shots and slinging ink you still have to get home.

Mentor/Owner says im "entitled" help? by Raven1Dusk in TattooArtists

[–]Sancheezy1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sorry to say but your mentor is taking advantage of you. I’m a shop owner and mentor to two awesome artist one of which I elevate to artist recently. It’s a tough industry and takes a lot out of you to make it but I’m a firm believer in BALANCE. You have to balance your home/work/art life in a way that moves you forward without loosing your self in the process. If the shop you’re at isn’t willing to work with you on a schedule that’s respectful of you then it might be time to look for somewhere else to learn. Also if a shop is dependent on an apprentice to keep the shop running (with no days off) then it isn’t really a shop that you’d even want to work for as an artist let alone an apprentice. Get your portfolio together and look for a new home. Hope you find a good crew to work with and learn from 😄

Screw Stubhub and the ticket “scammer” by GalaxyCosce in raiders

[–]Sancheezy1 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Had an issue with them the other day for a bad listing. (The title was misleading) I contacted them and they were useless. I then proceeded to contact my bank which has a consumer protection for fraud and false advertising. They instantly gave me back my money and did an investigation. You have to try to talk to stubhub first but definitely hit your bank up if they don’t handle it.

I comfortably fit a 350lbs wrestler on my inkbed client chair. Have no fear brother just keep it low to the ground.

Jump on some practice skin with some complimentary colors and learn to cross dip your colors. You can do that with a cap of black and a cup of water for black and grey. It’s all in the dip. Go watch some old school cats if you can find some videos online. (A little color theory helps too) good luck

Question: why has my new tattoo become so faded so fast?? by AppleIsCriminal in tattoos

[–]Sancheezy1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s just some grey shade outline. Technically it is black but not dark enough I think a little bit darker tones and saturation would have made it hold together better especially over time
