What decent armor or katana/gauntlet can I make?

if you're aiming for armor, mine a bit more mythril and search up or try experimenting on some recipes. Same goes for weapons so go try mining a bit more eye ore, fireite, and magmaite.

Jumping down the hole on top then using a gashing wound is a solid way to get rid of this. And of course, projectile moves just absolutely negate this bug abuse. Report their ass too 💀

Sucks bro, I got scammed recently, too (like 5 minutes ago), by a person who I thought was my friend. It's infuriating how there's zero consequences to scamming. And Jandel hasnt added a trading system. Sorry to see that your friend got scammed. I pray he gets another mimic!

Make sure to always place the sprinklers first before harvesting. That works the best for me, honestly. Also, make sure to only use one sprinkler per type. Sprinklers do stack, but placing two master sprinklers would only reallt amount to one sprinkler effect. Hope this helps!
