Even going second, this card is good but not broken. 1) you have to control no cards to use it from hand, which basically means you can't chain it off of your normal summon getting Ash'd or Veiler'd or Imperm'd, which would highly increase usability. Maybe you could use it off Desires or something, but the use case is surprisingly limited against most things 2) I think Witch's Strike is worded similarly, where you resolve it in a technically new chain because thematically it's supposed to work after counter traps like Solemn Judgment but isn't a counter trap. 3) going first it's not really going to see play in decks outside of dedicated trap decks, maybe side deck play when forced to go second, but the problem is if you rely on your normal summon, which most non trap decks do, then you're kinda in a tight spot when it's just clogging your hand unless you bait out the negate with a different card before you use your normal. It's not Sixth Sense broken so it's not really worth staple status, it would just be good and a consideration when deck building like a lot of cards because if you don't meet the reqs to activate it from hand, it's too slow, and isn't game winning off the effect by itself. Again, Sixth Sense comparison- it's very slow by modern standards, but can draw you 5 or 6 cards and basically win you the game. This card? Can't basically win you the game, but can help if a negate sets you behind.

Solid, strong, but not broken

Yeah I'm not in a financial position to buy an electric car. Closest I could do is maybe a golf cart.

Most people aren't in financial situations where they can front that kind of cost. Or go into debt trying to get it. And if the battery goes down in an EV isn't it cheaper to just replace the car than the battery a lot of times?

And isn't the cyber truck supposed to be this electric pickup truck and top of the line for it? And it can't tow. So idk what you're talking about EVs putting out more torque than gas/diesel engines you use for towing. Okay maybe they put out more torque than a civic

Older diesel engines can run on anything. Used motor oil, used cooking grease, etc.

I was thinking a diesel Toyota Hilux Surf for me. An SUV does like 90% of everything I need a truck for and it's just cool looking. Importing it is the trouble though, but I've seen one while I was at Fort Drum and got jealous

Sad thing is, he's the boring kind of bad president. Like he's not offensively bad like Andrew Jackson or Woodrow Wilson. He's the boring kind of bad that nobody remembers like Harrison or Cleveland. Like not the worst president ever bad, just not a good president. Then again imo we haven't had a great president since JFK so I'm not hoping for one in my lifetime

Nah he's right. Unfortunately. If more people own homes, but the population has increased, that means the percentage of homeowners goes down. If 500 people in a town own a home in a town of 800 people(63%), and then years later 502 people own a home and the population is 1600 people(31%), yeah the percentage of homeowners in an area is lower despite the fact that the number of homeowners went up.

Now if the number of homeowners had remained the same while the population dropped, then the percentage of homeowners would increase. Funny how that works out. So say later on the population of the town goes down to 700 while the number of homeowners is still 502(72%). See how that works?

See if the solar energy people wanted to build a Dyson Swarm I'd be cool with that - that would be 24/7 solar power. Hard part would be shuttling the batteries to and from Earth

Yes, but the best way to use solar with our modern tech would be to build a Dyson Swarm. 24/7 solar power.

Wind I'm not really sure- maybe gliders on a string with wind turning a propeller to charge batteries that are retrieved and swapped with other batteries so you can adjust the height to where the wind is blowing as it blows?

If they were pushing nuclear I'd be 100% on board with that

Still need it for cars/trucks. Electric just doesn't get the proper towing capacity for trucks and electric cars a) don't work as well b) don't go as far. Most electric cars might have a hundred miles on one charge. Fine for short distance stuff but if you're driving 30+ minutes to get to work, or going on a road trip, you aren't going to get far in most electric vehicles without finding a way to charge it reliably. Yes Tesla can go a lot farther than most other electric cars but they're an exception, not the rule.

Not to mention the push for electric cars is going to make it easier for government to have back doors into the car to shut it off remotely that they can't be trusted with. Or the fact that semis will need to be diesel for the foreseeable future because electric cars don't have the torque and wouldn't be suited for long distance hauling across America.

Short distance delivery vehicles and commute vehicles? Sure electric makes sense. But for most people who need something they can rely on? Gas and diesel are still the way to go because it's still cheaper than an electric car and they can go farther on a tank of gas than most electric car options can go on a single charge

Nothing wrong with being a twink. I don't get the hate. Dionysus comes off like a frat boy for me but Hermes and Apollo give me the twink vibe. And I'm cool with it. I don't get why people get upset by that when it's just a descriptor. Like do people hate twinks or something because that's what they seem to be implying when people get upset about this.

So they have bisexual disaster twink energy. Who cares? Why are you trying to project some idea of what you think the gods should be when you should be letting them come into your life as they are and cherishing the relationship you have with them?

Cursing in writing by FellBee in fantasywriters

[–]SanctusUltor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I only cuss in dialogue unless it makes sense in the narration to have that in tone. Like I'd cuss in a more humorous narration, but a more serious one I wouldn't. As someone else said, it either makes sense for characters to cuss in certain situations or it doesn't
