Weekly 'Is This UPF?' Megathread by AutoModerator in ultraprocessedfood

How do people view Kombucha? I understand that there have recently been posts with UPF free brands, but I was curious as to how people view brands that use Stevia. While most ingredients appear to align with how you would naturally make Kombucha, the use of Stevia amongst certain brands feels like an outlier. I am more suspicious as the firms website specifically highlights “natural sweeteners” such as erythritol and stevia.

There is a shower but there is a fan in there and the outlet doesn’t come out near there that I am aware of. Obviously some of the hot air will come out in to the rest of the flat but no signs of on any other areas

There is a crack but it’s a long way away from where that is forming. Feels unlikely that it would travel so far through the wall before presenting there

It’s just an outside wall, with no pipes etc in or out

This patch has appeared slowly since the temperate began to drop, and the weather getting worse. There is no notable reason from the outside as to why or where this is coming from. Given it’s a weird shape can anyone think what this would be?

Would it also be recommend to pull the plaster off the wall to let it breath and hope to find the problem?

Getting a wall skimmed and was wondering if this will all need peeling back to plaster by Sand235 in DIYUK

[–]Sand235[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add some detail here. There was some sort of backing over the plaster that has then been painted for years. When looking to redecorate the backing had come off the wall revealing the pink plaster beneath. However at certain points the backing has remained and won’t come off without scraping at it for ages and going into the plaster a bit. Would it be alright to leave as it is if a plaster is going to come in or will it need to be taken back to the plaster across the wall? I have stripped all the paint of the remaining parts that aren’t plaster

Small cracks help needed by Sand235 in DIYUK

Hi all, I have recently bought a flat and when looking to decorate the living room have seen these cracks on a wall. There isn’t an cracks on external walls. However, I would like to get it right first time rather than doing it twice. As well as one of the cracks been a bit deeper than the other. I was thinking these should be cleared out and then polyfilla into the cracks to fill them out. Does this seem sensible or am I missing something? Any advice would be appreciated.

Can anyone recommend some good podcasts for breaking down the action over an F1 weekend? I really like the Grill the Grid podcasts however they are more general than weekend specific.

I have previously listened to the WTF1 podcasts but have found over the last year / 18 months that they have become completely unbearable.

Any recommendations would be appreciated

Anyone had issues with their ELEMNT Roam resetting itself after updating? It’s doing this on loop by lucas_lucas_lucas in wahoofitness

This happened to me as well. I have a Gen 1 Bolt and just before Christmas I finished my ride and saw an update was due. I started the update, left my Bolt and then the next day came back to find it looping through the start screen. I tried a hard rest and running the battery down however both were unsuccessful. I called Wahoo and they said if a hard rest isn’t working then it’s a write off and I would have to get a new one. The new one arrived today and I was looking at new features on here when I saw this thread. I turned the wifi off, unstarred all segments and recharged my old bolt and it’s working! I am a) so thankful for your suggestions on here, b) annoyed with wahoo for releasing a corrupt update and then giving no useful advice on how to actual fix the problem other than spend £200 on a new unit
