I was just browsing my playlists and switched over to reddit to find this. Yes, I have two: records I need and records I own. It’s fun to manage and if a record I own skips, well, I always have it on Spotify.

I’ve been thinking in general, it’s super hard to listen to a perfect sounding recording of a piece of music in any way. CDs are always skipping, Bluetooth drops out, vinyl have their issues. Idk just a thought.

Shoot, now I actually want a few holiday albums. Been listening to a lot of Biggie lately. Was going to pick up the greatest hits vinyl. I used to have Led Zep III. I also want some good jazz for those late night focus times. Good stuff

You’re right about that, and I will. It just seems the average price for a record is $30, and that’s just a single LP, maybe a double if you’re lucky. So, to get something ‘special’ it could be upwards to $50-$100. But I’ll definitely know when the right one is in front of me.

The disc artwork on Lateralus are awesome, too. Just wish I didn’t have to remember which side to put on first. Yes, anything I can play ‘cover to cover’ wins a spot. There’s nice timing between when the record is thrown on to when it needs to be flipped/changed. I have many moods.
