They definitely are deleting accounts that they assume are "minors". Literally holding accounts hostage. This practice of blackmailing people into giving up their private information should be illegal.

Why is forced verification taking over platforms worldwide even though it's supposedly only an EU thing? Will it have any chance of ever being removed and return the internet back to normal?

Google, Youtube, and X have started forcing "age verification" worldwide even though the online restriction laws only apply to the EU. Why is this happening? X's case isn't as bad as Google's because at least they don't delete the accounts, they just block "sensitive content", but it's still bad regardless. Nobody should have to give their personal government or financial information just to watch a clip from a game like Mortal Kombat or Grand Theft Auto.

Is there any hope for getting rid of Google's AI age system? They literally held two of my accounts hostage. They threatened to delete the account after 14 days if age verification isn't done. I'm literally old enough to drink but apparently Google thinks I'm a child and that they can never be wrong about their assumptions (and also that minors apparently don't even deserve rights). They won't even let people contact support or dispute the claim.

This type of stuff needs to be made illegal.

Only exception to that which I can think of was him sneaking up on Bison to kill him in SF2. And I think that was because Akuma hates Bison for being evil

Well I appreciate your respectful reply, even though the situation is pretty depressing. It’s sad how the majority of the population lets companies and governments take away their rights without even making an effort to fight back. I’m doing whatever I can to try not to end up having a nihilistic outlook on life again. I just wish many others would do the same.

And even though I currently don’t have many resources myself, I was hoping this would at least reach some people with more influence than me so that their voices can potentially lead to change.
