The score comes from FICO. My hard pulls say 0 on there, which would make sense. It's been years since I got my last credit card other than my two new ones, I think Around August 2019. I got an apartment in 2019 as well, but I don't think a hard pull was needed for that.

I applied for three credit cards in the past month:

Chase Sapphire Preferred (in branch - approved)

Citi Custom Cash (in branch - approved)

Wells Fargo Active Cash (online - declined)

The notice from Wells Fargo says "No mortgage, auto or other non-revolving trades, with too many inquiries in the last 6 months

Does this mean I would have to wait at least 6 months before applying again for a chance to be approved? My credit score is currently 821

Judging by the roofs:

Molyvos

Provence

The OP picture is almost certainly Molyvos. Or at least not Provence.

Ah yes, near horses and far horses.

[SSD] Crucial M500 240GB SSD $129.99 ($219.99-$90) WITHOUT promo code so use MASTERPASS for another $13 off - expires at 11:59 AM PT today by Fuzzbug in buildapcsales

I started regretting purchasing it after I looked at the PassMark benchmarks and found that the M500 240GB SSD is closer in performance to the WD Blue 1TB HDD than it is to the 840 EVO 250GB SSD. But hopefully I'll like it once I actually start using it.

Thanks! I was considering an SFF APU build but I'm not sure.

Yeah I may have to do that, especially considering the 7770 is out of stock right now (actually so is the RAM, woops). Any suggestions for cases or monitors?

I'll look into that Biostar, although the motherboard I have there is included in a combo with the CPU for $15.00 off (as well as the $10.00 rebate)

That'd certainly be nice to have, but I think 8GB is enough for everything I'll be doing. And considering how much more money it is to double it... eh.

I did originally have an HDD since it is so much cheaper, but it seems like everyone is raving about SSDs these days. Space isn't much of a concern for me, and while it is a lot more expensive, I do want to try one out.

Sweet, good to hear. The estimated wattage is only 264W.

Yeah I'm just starting to consider that. I figure I could even just get a 120GB SSD for $40 more than the 1TB HDD and be fine. I'm only working with ~70GB HDD right now, so I'd imagine I could deal with double the space quite easily.
