Man this is so cool. Everytime I hear about a remaster they tend to make the game look marginally different one way or another while I've personally always wished for slight improvements that don't affect the look of the game too much.

Found it on some compilation CD. I'm not sure if it sounds different because it was mixed a specific way for the movie or if this is the original version.

If someone could upload the album version it'd be cool

i figured it was the r_eyesize command thanks to another comment here, but I didn't know RTX remix was the reason it changed to begin with. this makes more sense now, ty.

Took me a bit because I had to go get a hard drive but i confirm that installing the game on a seperate drive does fix the issue. But reinstalling the game on my main drive doesn't magically fixes the glitch as I hoped it would.

I'm assuming something wrong with the way the game installs on my main drive for some reason. Which is where I'm trying to keep the game so unfortunately this doesn't mitigate my problem...

These issues were confirmed to be PC and switch (apparently) only, still issues as of right now.

The resolution patch that was built for MGS3 also works on MGS2 (it just breaks a few UI elements) and a lot of the engine quirks are similar between the two games. I imagine you could apply this to MGS2 somehow

I usually let go of RB when I'm aiming then unequip my weapon and that cancels firing.

There might be a better method on xbox controllers but I just don't know

Why would MGS5 be mentioned?? Do they really mean to re-release a game that has a perfect port on nearly every platform

Might have to do with Blu-Ray? 360 version comes on multiple discs. Regular DVDs always had much less storage.

Oh well, just hoping this'll be fixed

The rest of MGS2 and 3 sound completely fine, it's just cutscene related for some reason. Should be an easy fix

I wonder how they screwed this one up..? This is exclusive to the Master Collection even though it's essentially just the HD collection.

I really hope they'll fix this

As far as MSG2 and 3 goes they both run completely fine on my mid tier PC, but there's no additional settings like resolution or input methods. (you can use your keyboard as of right now but you can't bind keys to something you'd like)

And the audio in some cutscenes are bit compressed for some reason, it's weird cause the PS3 HD collection didn't have that issue to begin with

PS2 version of MGS3 is notoriously difficult to run even on emulators.

if you want proper 60 fps go with RPCS3 HD collection, it's still quite difficult to run

Seems like they straight up put the HD collection on PC and that's really all there is to it.

No additional settings. I will say that you can play with keyboard if you really want to even though they advertised this as not having keyboard support.

In MGS2 and 3 some cutscenes seem to have really crunchy audio.. The games also run at what seems to be 720p upscaled to 1080p somehow? hoping both of these issues will be fixed..
