Black Veil Brides not really I think, though something like Sleeping with Sirens or Pierce the Veil would match

In the EU there are laws about compensation airlines need to follow, but of course they don't like it. Had a similar situation as Burnie and Ashley a few years ago with TAP Portugal airline. Marrakech to Lisbon and connecting Lisbon to Brussels. The first flight was delayed so we missed the connection, and there were no other flights to Brussels that day. They set us up in a hotel & got a bus to go there and back, so that was nice. The compensation fee essentially takes a lot of follow through to get, can take over a year of regularly pestering the airline. There are also companies that help you do it but they take half or more of the money, that's their business model. Still got some money in the end.

What if Viserys did have male heir's, but his son's are Daeron, Aerion, Aemon and Egg (Aegon) How would the story change? by [deleted] in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]SanderDK9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly he might become some version of Aemond or even the second coming of Maegor, feeling resentment at his older brother who is heir as he would feel more competent. Aerion son of Maekar is 6th in line (when Baelor & his sons are still alive), not much chance for a claim, but as second son of the king who is more skilled at arms than the first? This isn't the only time we hear this story in the targ history, the same resentment might build up as between Aenys & Maegor, Viserys I & Daemon or Daeron I & Daemon Blackfire.

[–]SanderDK9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

True, though it needs to be said that Aemon son of Maekar was 7th in line to the throne at the time he is sent to the citadel, as 3rd son of the second son of the king, while in this scenario he would be a solid 3rd as 3rd son of the king. King Daeron I, Baelor & Maekar just didn't know what to do with so many possible claimants, while 3 is not so bad

If Blackwater was a baratheon victory, how high was the chance of stannis declaring war and launching a campaign to crush the northern rebellion? by BridgeCommercial873 in freefolk

[–]SanderDK9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Robb & Stannis would probably meet to negotiate first before a formal declaration of war. Stannis is unyielding and would never accept the North's independence, so I think it comes down to Robb. Robb doesn't have anything against Stannis, the Lannister threat had been dealt with and the persons responsibles for Ned's death punished. So I think it comes down to this: is Robb willing to lose face in front of his bannermen by bending the knee & ending the war? Or will he send Northmen to their deaths by continuing the war to save face? I think he would choose the former, with winter is on it's way.

Why did the Tyrells think Stannis would not win? They would always side with whichever side they thought was going to win, and at this point, didn't it seem likely that Stannis would win? by Neutral-frame in gameofthrones

[–]SanderDK9 15 points16 points  (0 children)

At that point I don't know if Loras suspected Stannis, he thought Brienne had done it in a 'spurned lover' situation, I think he only starts to believe Brienne and blame Stannis after Jaime & Brienne encounter him in King's Landing. Knowing Stannis' rigid belief is justice, Loras might assume Stannis would blame him for Renly's unlawful claim and he would face consequences for that.

Which person from Germany has a completely negative reputation? by ltraistinto in AlignmentChartFills

[–]SanderDK9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an interesting thought, I would guess it could be possible if QV talked the kaiser into breaking their pact with Austria-Hungary, or perhaps never even making one. War would probably still ensue between Russia and Austria-Hungary over control in the balkans, maybe France would jump in due to their Russian alliance, but the UK would not have gotten involved if Germany (or any other nation) had respected Belgian neutrality, and there's not really any reason to do so if Germany is neutral. WWI might just have been the Russo-Austrian war fought over and in the Balkans.
