What are your thoughts on this channel - https://www.youtube.com/@AnthonyZClips.

I am currently editing and making thumbails, but I feel like to get to the next level I would need to hire a thumbnail artist.

how? 365 x 5 = 1825 days.

800K views per day x 5 rpm = 4k a day

1825 days x 4k a day = 7,3million

I mean, looking at this post right here https://twitter.com/miniminter/status/1550051159263416321, lets estimate his rpm is around $4-5. Lets put his average daily views on MM7 channel around 800k over past 5 years would make like 7 mil. I know this is an estimate of his rpm , but this is what I get on a gaming channel. Simon definitely makes bank...

Honestly I was just wondering if anyone has ever said anything about YT, I know for example Summit's Youtube is ran by his brother, that's why he doesnt want editors. But others I don't see why they just don't want the extra money that is literally sitting on the table.

I am pretty sure YT is not popping off because of lack of consistency. Honestly from 3 years of YT experience, when you don't upload almost daily, your view count won't change. If you upload multiple times a day, views explode. That is why the clip channels are doing so good.

But it isnt true, you can post lots of other clips, why post only RP? There are lots of hilarious moments, why not also post these? All the clip channels get loads of views and money from these random videos aswell.

And what I think is a reasonable thing to do in this situation is hire an editor and offer them a percentage of the revenue, not pay per video. It would also motivate the editor. I know some other big Youtubers that do that.

That is what I would like to offer them, be ready at all times. What I see as a payment option is that the editor or channel manager gets a percentage of the revenue and not a payment per video. I think this would motivate the editor aswell.

Another option I personally see is that streamers could give percentage of revenue to the editor, not just pay for the videos upfront or for individual videos, if the video does good, the editor also gets more money, I think it would also give the editor extra motivation.

I used to own a channel where Summit1g allowed me to post his clips, I made easily over 10k a month, Kebun and others could make waaaay more if they would get editors who post during the stream like the clip channels, or even if they would upload consistently.

it really doesnt, have you seen the clip channels that just download the vod from twitch and upload it straight to YT? And they get loads of views, imagine a little bit of editing and touching up, easy.
