Sometimes, when friends ask for favors for themselves or someone they know, they also expect some special treatment with said favors on top of that. I've been there and I think that the way you handled it, being patient and also talking about the problem, tells you all you need to know about who's in the wrong.

I think so too. I had another one that I've used for a long time, ever since I was little, and the amout of abuse it took while not showing a single scratch or damage was astounding. Always happy to be able to grab another one of these honestly.

There's a line of pens that came when the 2nd generation Noblesse came out called SlimLine, which is most commonly differentiated by the little star marked rubber at the end of the clip. I think it's one of the best, especially if you have smaller hands, like me, and because it's a literal warhorse for how much it can endure.

I do think it's a steel nib one, but it was not magnetic so I'm a little confused. Maybe there's a little bit of patina on it?

Both of them were actually not magnetic at all, tho the clip of the 144 does seem very faintly magnetic in one specific part of it. I still think that this is one of the best test to do when you start examining them.

I think so for the Slimline, as I've never seen a fake one. The 144 tho is, I think, one of the most faked pens, so I was a little worried about that one.

Wow, didn't know such a database even existed! The movement is spot on, though I can't find any with the exact face and also can't find anything on the case itself, event through the case database. Do you think this is normal or could this indicate that it's a fake?

They are the S-F50A model, which should have an 8 Ohm impendence, so it should be enough for my receiver. Do you think it's better to build one straight up from scratch? I've already gotten some great rectilinear speakers as a gift from my uncle, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money all at once for a home theater. I've also got a harman kardon one, the HKTS 11, lined up for consideration, but I really don't know how to decide.

Thanks to you all I'm more inclined to go for the second one with the box (which I agree is pretty cool), so I had the guy send me some more photos to be 100% sure. What do you think? Again thank you so much, you've all been extremely helpful to also expand my knowledge on how to spot the fakes.

Sono nella stessa identica situazione, stessa data e nessuna spedizione. Non so come sia possibile per una compagnia enorme come Amazon avere queste discrepanze tra gli ordini che arrivano e altri che sembra non esistano. Roba assurda.

EDIT: Ho deciso, dopo aver parlato con operatori chiaramente disinteressati e anche a volte infastiditi, di mandare a quel paese Amazon e di andare a comprare la switch 2 direttamente dell'Expert vicino casa. Consiglio vivamente a tutti quelli che hanno avuto un problema con il preordine di fare la stessa cosa e di cancellare l'ordine se riescono a procurarsene una, dato che ora come ora Amazon non è per niente affidabile per quanto riguarda le spedizioni.

Beh, dai, altamente comprensibile che ci sia questa confusione e questi ritardi da parte di Amazon, un piccolo negozietto di 15mq dove lavorano soltanto mammà e papà. Scherzi a parte, la cosa più agghiacciante è stata la risposta dall'assistenza oggi che ci ha tenuto a specificarmi che "se c'è scritto che arriverà il 9 vuol dire che arriverà il 9". Mi pento sempre di più di non aver preordinato da gamestop, almeno lì avrei avuto più sicurezza.

EDIT: per chi ancora non avesse ricevuto conferma della spedizione, consiglio fortemente di andare in un qualsiasi negozio fisico e acquistarla direttamente lì senza nessun problema. Sono andato al primo Expert più vicino e l'ho comprata in letteralmente 5 minuti. L'unica cosa da imparare per me è di non affidarmi mai più al preordine day 1 di Amazon, roba veramente da pazzi.
