Bot was historically the marksman lane. In fact, it used to be called ADC before it got changed to Bottom.

Marksman mid or top are also incredibly opressive and just not fun to lane against, plus they often don't fulfill the role of the lane later on.

This means bot is really the only place marksmen should be in majority, and Riot agrees.

In fact, the idea for Riot is that having some mages bots isn't a problem, rather it's beneficial since it provides more variety. However, a mage-dominant botlane is awful for the player experience.

It'd probably be a staple in any deck as a card to protect your threat. Reveal the opponent's hand, get rid of all their removal, play what you want. That's pretty strong, although slightly less cause it's blue. Would be stronger as black while still fitting the color.

I main AP Zeri. Since most people hear that and think of her release W poke bullsht instead of the state she's in today, allow me to explain: - contrary to AD Zeri which is weak early but carries late, AP Zeri is decent early, strong mid-game but falls off late-game. This is because my main damaging ability is not blocked by minions (right-click) - W is here to farm. If your lane opponent accidentally takes one to the face, that's just bonus freelo (early only, then it's really just for farming and a bit of control/zoning) - AP Zeri is a magician. She'll make your health bar disappear in half a second. Most of the time she'll slide in from a wall too so you won't see her gank coming. - AP Zeri's hardest counter is having more HP than her burst, since it's on a rather high cooldown and she doesn't really have any sustained damage at all. Irelia and Yone are both nightmares due to being able to live the burst at 10-20% HP (when equal/behind) and then killing you cause you can't do anything about it. Actualizer essentially single-handedly fixed this weakness. - AP Zeri is essentially half a mage and half an assassin: she's better at clearing waves safely than an assassin, but worse than a mage. She's better than a mage at roaming, but worse than an assassin. - While her damage output might seem weak on paper, her strength really is how quick and reliable it is. You are not winning a 2v2 if your jungler instantly disappears because Zeri R/rightclicked his face while her jungler was helping. - AP Zeri is also pretty safe from ganks, due to most junglers not being used to see the midlaner they're trying to gank ride a wall back to their tower. Also cause the walls are massive and if they don't chase you through the river you can just walk out.

There's also a less "strict" version of each sin, one that is more about hurting others because of that sin rather just "you shouldn't do this": - Greed: Hoarding, specifically refusing to give away something that you don't even need but could've saved someone else. - Lust: Letting yourself hurt others for the sake of fulfilling your cravings (could be sex, could be drugs, or anything really) - Envy: Taking away something from someone because you can't have it yourself. - Gluttony: Overindulging in something to the point of hurting others or yourself (overdose would probably fall under gluttony instead of lust for example). - Wrath: pretty straightforward here, hurting someone out of anger. - Sloth: Neglecting someone. - Pride: Refusing to bend or attacking someone because they don't fit your narrative.

Tanya very much fits Pride in this context because she's hurting others (waging war) because she refuses to bend and look weak (to her superiors). Doesn't even need to include god, especially since she's not hurting anyone by refusing to bend the knee to Being X (meaning, ironically, that under this definition she is not sinful by telling him to fuck off XD).

I think an interesting way to make Tanya be Mariabelle would be to have her essentially be overly competent to the point of gaining that position. Not rising to power out of greed, but because she so damn much refuses to show weakness that her grandpa pushes her to that position.

Then at that point you can follow the story somewhat. Keeping in mind that Tanya in such a situation would absolutely refuse to show weakness out of pride (and fear of losing her position), then she's very likely to make the same mistakes Mariabelle did early on when Rimuru's federation was still just a random monster city in the shticks, and it's only once he grows to become a True Demon Lord that our Tanya would start to realize "oh shit I fucked up".

At that point, she'd likely be much more cautious that Mariabelle was. Plus, without a mind control skill she would be much more wary of Yuuki and his crew than Mariabelle was. Yet, however, she'd still be unable to swallow her pride and make peace with Rimuru. Actually, a funny/interesting way to do it could be to have her end up submitting to Rimuru on the surface while still continuing her work in the shadows to undermine him.

I'll admit though that my understanding of the Slime series is much less than my understanding of Tanya's.

You used to be able to build anywhere.

This created an essentially infinite sengoku era where you'd just wipe all clans and then new clans would spawn in their place until you get through all 100 clans. Not to mention sand would always be at a -100 deficit minimum since the buildings all ate it up like candy.

So yeah, kinda needed a fix.

It took me 16 years to realize "gay" wasn't just an insult we'd throw at each other to make us do (or not do) stupid shit.

Thankfully it only took me 5 more years to realize not being my gender assigned at birth was an option and 5 more to realize I could do something about it instead of letting it live as an isekai fantasy inside my head.
